Each day brims with Your beauty...

(Psalm 71:8 The Message Bible)

Listening to or reading the news can get me down.
There's so much ugly in our world.
So, so much.
But then,
I get a Facebook message, from a friend who is raising funds
I get an email from a dear one, laying his life down to reach people for Christ in a very unsafe situation,
and my mind begins to think about the beauty of Christ
shining through His people all over this world
and I realize anew that no ugliness, no darkness
can quench the beauty, the light of Christ.

  4. Amen, Elizabeth. It's hard to see with eternal eyes, but that is exactly how we must see. Otherwise, this world threatens to overwhelm and paralyze us. Beautiful image and thoughts. Blessings on your weekend :)

  10. Love the photo and the Word. AND, being a Uganda person in my heart...and having lived there and have so many dear ones that keep in touch... made me filled with sorrow and rejoicement. Too much going on, around and about the world. You really grabbed me again, Elizabeth. Thank you...

  14. The world is really full of awful things if you only listen to the news. That's why it's a must to read the Word first before going into the world. Because it is our stronghold and our assurance that no matter what, everything will be alright. :)

    Keep the positivity going! :)
