Christmas Dining Room...

The Christmas Home tours are starting in blogland.
I have my Christmas decorating all done, but haven't been able to get it all photographed yet...
trying to get those ideal indoor photos with natural light is not easy in the winter!

You saw part of my dining room in this post, so I thought I would show you the rest.
This old wooden tote, a Goodwill find last year, is filled simply with old blue canning jars and natural greens and a piece of paper garland is taped to the side.
The grain sack-like table runner was a TJMaxx bargain that I picked up some time ago and saved for Christmas.

The corner of the dining room holds my dish cabinet,
which is topped by some wall shelves I put up last spring.
On the wall is my chalkboard that I decorated using a chalk pen.
My Jesse Tree has one title of Jesus for each day of December until Christmas,
you can read more about my Advent idea here.

Some pieces of Universal China's Woodvine pattern that I have collected sit on the bottom shelf.
Mama had one piece that I now have, and the rest I've picked up here and there,
and I still keep my eyes open for pieces in good condition with a reasonable price.

My walnut shell garland that I made before Thanksgiving, has transitioned into Christmas nicely.
It might be one of my favorite decorations this year.
Some wool felt snowflakes from West Elm and some inexpensive glitter letters from Walmart spelling out N-O-E-L hang from the garland.

The dining room window has a reversible sign I made...one side for autumn, seen here,
and this side for Christmas.
Some simple cranberry colored wooden beads are draped from the curtain rod.

Well, there's my partial home tour, I'll be back with some more later this week!
