On a gray, rainy, Oregon afternoon…

Once upon a time, on a gray, rainy, Oregon afternoon…

001pk

a woman went to Walmart for some exciting necessities,

like paper towels,

and laundry bleach…

002pk

but she ended up meandering through the garden center

to see if there were any signs of spring in there…

005pk

and there she found a cast off bag of clearance sale fall bulbs,

hyacinths, that had begun to sprout…

017pk

so she took them home and planted them willy nilly

in odd and interesting containers…

018pk

and she smiled…

008pk

on a gray, rainy, Oregon afternoon.

010pk

Still following,

Elizabeth

  1. So beautiful Elizabeth! Isn't it just like all of us...we should be cast off and yet He sees the beauty in us and brings us right on home. :-) Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

  2. I have really been wanting to try my hand at "forcing" some bulbs. What joy you will receive from watching these grow and bloom in the gray winter months!
