Snow Day...

Yesterday, we woke up to about an inch of snow, which is enough here in the southwest Washington/ northwest Oregon area for schools to shut down and every child to rejoice.
I'm still at my youngest daughter's helping with our newborn granddaughter and twenty month old grandson. He doesn't remember his first snow when he was under a year old, so he was unsure about this strange white stuff covering the ground. But, it didn't take him long to want to explore and play in it.
My son-in-law, daughter, grandson, and new granddaughter went on a walk in the snow. Our grandson rode in the stroller and my daughter carried the baby all snuggled up in a wrap. It was fun to get out. I took my camera along and snapped some photos.

There is more snow predicted for this coming weekend! I'll be back home by then, so being snowbound with my husband after being apart for almost two weeks sounds kind of cozy!

still following,

  2. Beautiful images, as always, Elizabeth! I know your presence is so important to your daughter at this time. A 20-month-old brother! Busy, busy.
