Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart...

And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].
Colossians 3:15 Amplified Bible

It's a choice.
I need to remember this.
Stress or tension, worry or anxiety, are not the boss of me.
I'm in charge of what I let rule my mind and thoughts,
and I choose God's peace!

Thank you for this gentle reminder that we all need to remember & live by. As I grow in my walk with Him, I am trying to do this in my life. I believe He knew that I need to be reminded of this today. Blessings to you!

    1. I need to be reminded, too. It's a frequent challenge and a learning, failing, and getting back up, and choosing peace once again type of thing for me.

  4. God's peace, given to us, truly surpasses all understanding. I have struggled with seeking His peace first in my life. But through Him we are conquerors!!

    1. Ann, look up John 14:27 in the Amplified Bible. It's been a lifesaving verse for me. I often say it aloud or pray it when I need to live in God's peace.

  11. I ned Christ's peace today and everyday. I have several stressful weeks ahead and I am letting my mind take over instead of allowing Christ's peace to take up residence and calm. Blessed you joined us at The Weekend Brew.
