Building a bridge of trust with planks of thanks...

I do believe Ann has it right.
Gratitude is the building material of which trust is built.
Over five years of counting God's blessings in my life and my testimony is that it has been a life-changing practice.
I see clearly now His very evident hand in my everyday life.
I see His daily faithfulness and trustworthiness.
And I am so very grateful.

************
Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks
piling up gratitude day by day
in my little green journal.
(and capturing some of my blessings via my camera or iPhone)

  2. Oh, this makes me smile, seeing your granddaughter all clean but imagining her and her friend in a hole they dug. ha. Yay for your daughter's wedding dress being finished! The flowers are so lovely.

So many things in life to be grateful for if we'll stop and count. Thanks for being a faithful counter. It helps me count too.

    1. She was quite indignant that I wanted to clean her up. She said she liked being dirty!

  3. This line: "Gratitude is the building material of which trust is built."

I've got to contemplate that one, Elizabeth. It's profound, and so true. I need to stop and realize how much God blesses me, each and every day. And then, I need to remember how to be grateful for it all.

    GOD BLESS!
