Friday Faves...some mantel changes

Not that the world stops spinning when I don't blog for a couple of days,
but since I usually post each weekday, maybe you were wondering where I went.
Well, quite simply, life happened!
I had a busy couple of days and have also been battling the bronchial bug that's going around.
I suspect that in the coming busy weeks leading up to my youngest daughter's wedding in May,
days away from blogging may happen now and then.

Since Valentine's day is over, I took down my Valentine's decor and added a few spring touches.
You'll notice I still haven't put away my beloved pom-pom wreath.

This lovely scripture print is from my She Reads Truth Lent study guide.

We've had beautiful spring like weather lately,
but today the skies are gray and it's drizzling outside, which is more typical for this time of year.
But, the daffodils are in bloom and the tulip trees and ornamental pear and cherry trees are blooming,
so spring is on its way!
That means that a few spring touches around the house are perfectly appropriate, right?

It's almost Friday, friends!
Have a HAPPY, HAPPY Friday
and
a safe and BLESSED weekend!

  3. I can't help being just a little envious of spring that is appearing in your part of the world :) It is still frigid here.

Your mantel is sweet. I like that blue egg in the little nest best.
