Friday Faves...more easy autumn changes

Often it's the simplest and easiest things I like the best.
Like one white pumpkin placed on an old stool.

How about a wee coral squash on top of an old scale,
or a wicker pumpkin in an ironstone bowl.

Maybe add a simple Autumn greeting to a chalkboard or add a green pumpkin-like squash to a shelf.

An autumn themed sign to hang above your window is a nice touch.

The Nester says it doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.
It doesn't have to be complicated either!

It's almost Friday, friends.
Have a HAPPY, HAPPY Friday
a safe and BLESSED weekend.

  1. I love the way you add touches of the season here and there. It's just right - and perfect! I'm home after several days at the coast with my dear college friend. She has safely arrived at her home and I feel the change of seasons deep in my soul! I'm ready to fully embrace the season and make changes in my house. I can't wait to see what I come up with - and, once again, you are an inspiration.

    1. Thanks, friend. Hope to see what you do on your blog!

  2. I love your easy autumn changes--those are the best kind I think--they look really natural and not contrived--!

    1. Thanks, friend. A few years ago I think I cured myself of "over fall decorating" when my home looked like a riot of orange!

  3. white on white - can never get enough!

  4. Your home always looks lovely and welcoming. Very pretty fall changes!

    1. Thank you so much, Alison! You're a great hostess!

  5. Love, love, love your ideas. And this year, I bought my very first white pumpkin! Hugs from Georgia, my friend.

  6. I love the way you decorate! Always beautiful. I'm hoping this fall to add a few touches to our home. I purchased The Nester's book because I've heard so many fabulous things about it. Blessings.

  7. Beautiful...adding some fall touches to our home this weekend.

  8. I love the latest touches to your home! The white pumpkin on the stool is perfect!
    Have a lovely weekend, Elizabeth!

  9. Love the naturals and the different textures and colors of your pumpkins. Such a pretty fall from a pretty blog. I'm excited to have found another sister in Christ. Hope we can get to know each other. I have two blogs, one is mostly just me and my loves and the other is about my journey with depression and God's grace to carry me. Hope you'll follow along.
