A small change to my autumn mantel

It was just last week when I showed you my autumn mantel.
Just call me fickle, because I already changed something.

Did you click on the link and then come back here to compare?
Yes, I added my vintage autumn paint by number to the mantel,
replacing the small oil painting of the children in rain boots that I did have there.
Now I'm all ready for October to begin!

still following,

  1. Yes, I did click the link. I'm glad I did because I had missed the first one somehow. (Don't know how since I'm pretty much a stalker. ) I love the painting there, and just to let you know: Loved the decor in the clicked link too.

  2. I've got to go check out my paint-by-number stash! For some reason, yours looks familiar - AND mighty fine on your mantel! Happy October, Elizabeth.

  3. I have a weakness for those classic paint by number artworks. Over the years I've collected and shared them with numerous friends. I used to work in a very upscale little vintage boutique where we sold them for upwards of $50. Of course, I bought mine at the local thrift store for $5. Good things come to those who hunt! Love your home decor.

  5. Love the painting. I have a paint-by-number painting from my childhood somewhere. It always brings back such clear memories.

    1. Collecting paint by numbers is quite popular now. I only have the one.

  6. You inspire me to do some small changes as the seasons change. Love that mantel of yours. Maybe a book for you? Seasons, mantles, ministry and God's never changing Word?

  7. You're not fickle, my friend - you just weren't finished! I love the way your mantle looks and that oil painting is perfect there. I need to get busy and find all of my Autumn stuff - we put it away somewhere for safekeeping when the kids moved in with us last Spring. I haven't dug through the stacks of boxes in the garage to discover what was put where! You inspire me!
