God bless America...

God Bless America by Irving Berlin-
While the storm clouds gather far across the sea
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer

God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with a light from above
From the mountains, to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam
God bless America
My home sweet home

2 Chronicles 7:14 Amplified Bible
If My people, who are called by My name,
shall humble themselves,
pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face
and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven,
forgive their sin,
and heal their land.

  2. We certainly are blessed to live in a country with freedom to love God and share his Word - but it is growing more and more necessary to pray 2 Chronicles 7:14 over our nation, isn't it. \
Thanks for the lovely patriotic tribute tonight, Elizabeth.

  4. Yes, very needful Words, words, and photo. It's been MANY years since that verse in II Chronicles has been used exceptionally for this time. So needful. In our present-day system/world, it truly is very important. VERY important. You, as usually, shared well. Thanks, Elizabeth. Sure would love to be with you again!!
