Tree blossoms...

Yesterday was the first day I noticed that the trees in our neighborhood are starting to blossom!
I love this quote that we should count the year by blossoms, not by snow storms or rain or problems.
This is a great nugget of truth in my opinion.

Today's prompt for Kim's Texture Tuesday was "from the top" 
so I photographed most of these from above.

  15. My husband and I just returned from Portland, and I saw some trees getting those blooms ready! I'm envious here in the NE corner, although today's sunshine gives me hope. :-)

  18. Oh my! That third shot is amazing. The detail is fantastic! Spring is still fairly elusive in our neck of the woods. I'm hopeful to see some signs in a few more weeks.
