First daffodil...

(edited with one layer of Kim's wake texture 50% opacity, partially erased from the cup and blossom)

The challenge this week on Kim's Texture Tuesday is "color".
I chose my Cath Kidston mug and the first daffodil to bloom in our yard as my pops of color.

(edited with one layer of Kim's kk100 texture, soft light 20% opacity, lightly erased from the blossom)

  3. Your daffodil is so pretty and the mug too. I bought daffodils at the grocery yesterday because I've never planted them.

I must investigate this photography trick of yours.

  4. Your photos are just beautiful, Elizabeth! How wonderful to be seeing a sign of spring with pretty daffodils. I have a feeling we're going to have a late spring here in Virginia because of our extra cold winter. Not seeing any signs of daffodils or crocuses yet. :-(

    1. The daffs are up all over in my neighborhood, but I think the moles ate the bulbs, as only one bloomed in my yard!

  9. Beautiful! Our daffs have leaves that are about 1/4 inch tall...that's all the far they are yet.
