A touch of spring in my home...

After all this time, my homemade driftwood hanger is still one of my favorite things.

Of course, the market basket I brought home from our trip to Ghana, West Africa,
will always have a special place in my heart.
I remember the crowded marketplace where we bought it, and our Ghanian friend, Bishop A.,
bargaining with the seller to get the best price.

On a quick trip into Ross to find something new and inexpensive to wear,
I instead found this blue hanging jar for $2.99.

Filled with grocery store daisies, it gives a touch of spring to my entry hall.

Spring!
Its official start is only a few days away.
Our neighborhood is already alive with blooms and blossoms.

What have you done to welcome spring into your home?

still following,

  1. Love that new hanging jar! I've added Daffodils to my kitchen window. Today I pulled my mini-blinds to the top of the window to let the sunshine in! That's all so far but I want to start adding touches of Spring to the rest of my house soon. I've been Spring Cleaning my guestroom and its closet for the arrival of our daughter and her youngest daughter tomorrow.

  9. Now that I see your post, I'm going to take out my Easter tree my MIL made years ago. It's a small branch decorated with handmade Easter eggs. And I hung my sheets out in the sun today. :)
