2 Corinthians 2:15...

I could recognize my babies by the smell of their skin.
If you asked me to describe their scent it would be nearly impossible.
But you mamas and daddies know what I'm talking about.
Your kids have their own smell,
a scent unique to one of your children.

When Father God smells me, He smells Jesus.
He smells the scent of His Son,
a scent unique to one of His children.
He doesn't smell the mess I got into yesterday or last week,
He just smells His dearly loved child.
Isn't that amazing?

  11. So interesting that you write about this....I've run across this verse and the idea of us being the aroma of Christ to others several times the past 2 weeks.

And just tonight my Sydney was talking about how she and Kayleigh each have their own scent....

I went to Trader Joe's and got me some purty flowers today : )

  16. Your roses are lovely, as are your words. I've never thought of that verse that way before, and now I will every time I smell that precious baby scent.
