Beer budget bouquet...

The Hubs bought me fresh flowers for one of the twelve days of Christmas gifts that he gave me this year.
When he realized how much I loved getting them, he's been buying them for me more often.
The other day we had to run into Trader Joe's for something,
so I showed him that his sweet love gifts don't need to break the bank.
This lovely bouquet was only $3.99 at T.J.'s.
Mama always said I had champagne tastes and a beer budget.
In most things, she just may have been right.
But, in this case, this beer budget bouquet makes me feel pretty bubbly inside.

Still following,

  1. You are so right. I often see something I like and find that it is the most expensive thing on the rack. However as I keep on looking there is usually something that also makes me smile and for a lot less. Sometimes there is a less expensive thing that can be brought up to expensive standards with a little help and creativity. That is how a budget person can live as stylishly as someone with with more cash but less panache.

  3. Wow! That IS a good price. Not sure they're available around here for that. Why, that's about what some people spend for a cup of coffee :)

  8. Love the white bouquet...so fresh for this time of year!! I wish I had a Trader Joe's or even a store with inexpensive flowers. Sometimes I will pick them up at Walmart but even their's cost more than TJ's. :)

  10. and yes, I am so jealous that you have a Trader Joe's--why, oh, why can we not have them here in Arkansas--I went to one two years ago in Santa Fe and we have NOTHING to compare with it in my opinion--

  16. Sweet hubby. So totally agree that flowers don't have to be so expensive. I would much rather have a cheaper bouquet of simple white flowers than roses or something like that that break the bank.

    Beautiful vignette.
