Friday's Favs...My Christmas-y Home 2012...

Welcome to my Christmas-y home, 2012!
Lots of pictures and not too many words...enjoy!
In the photo above, you are in the entry hall, and in the one below, our living room.
To see the decor in my stair landing go here.
The nativity sits atop my antique wooden cubby.

You can see more about my Christmas mantel here
and about our Christmas tree here.

And now, onto the dining room...
Here are a few Christmas-y touches found on my Restoration Hardware knock-off shelves.
My daughter made these cute little Christmas-y lavender sachets for me.

For a post about my Christmas centerpiece go here.

For close ups of the vignette on the dish cabinet go here.
In the kitchen window sill are paperwhite bulbs which are starting to bloom
and a homemade wreath hangs from the curtain rod.

On the kitchen counter is an old wooden trug filled with all of the fixin's for hot chocolate.
This has been a big hit with the grandkids!
I hope you enjoyed the tour!
Come back again!

It's almost Friday!
Have a HAPPY, HAPPY Friday
and
a BLESSED weekend!

  6. I think my favorite bit is the snowmen in the glass dish on top of the dish cabinet. Love that they were a gift from your mom, but they were my favorite even before I knew.

  11. Everything looks charming and lovely, Elizabeth. And uncluttered (I am anti-clutter) which makes it serene.
As well, your home looks extraordinarily clean. Wonderful!

  18. What a beautiful homey happy place to be. I, too, am loving the truck with the tree, the antique jars (I have some of those too and adore them) and the words of love and life sprinkled throughout.
