Friday’s Favs…Your junk is my Christmas Décor!

In a previous post about the Holiday Open House at Camas Antiques,

I told you that I had purchased a couple of things that I planned to use in my Christmas decorations.

Well here they are!

006

This metal tool caddy appears to be hand made.

Now it holds Christmas greens and old aqua colored canning jars.

Inside each of the jars is a tea light nestled in some “snow”, (kosher salt).

They add a cozy twinkle in my kitchen window in the dark evenings.

008

A rusty old cheese grater was my other “big” purchase. Smile

A small jar candle is sitting inside.

When lit, the cheery light glows through the holes in the grater.

My little stack of French tart molds is filled with “snow” too.

An Eddie Walker Santa “chef” ornament and a bundle of branches gathered with some twine and greens completes my kitchen window sill “vignette”.

I like that the metal on the tool caddy is stamped with some lettering.

I was going to take a picture in the evening with the candles lit, but got distracted with caring for “big sister”.

Mama and “baby sister” will get out of the hospital today.

Grandbabies are such a blessing!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE and HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND!
