Whatever He touches…

004

My phone beeps with an incoming text.

It’s a weather alert from The Weather Channel app. saying,

“It is possible that the valley floors will see a significant snowfall in the mid to late week time frame…

but it is also possible that little or no snow will fall.”

Uncertainty…that seems to be the world’s prognostication for everything.

On a walk through my neighborhood, the One Who’s Breath is Life whispers a sure word to my spirit.

“Whatever I touch cannot remain dead, hopeless, lifeless.”

No matter if it snows

or doesn’t snow…

Spring is sure to come…

“His extravagant offerings are not limited to the incarnation and crucifixion but given each day in every beauty found in nature, in every goodness we experience in relationships, even in every moment of time and every breath of life that we breathe.” Dana Candler, Entirety

“Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens.

He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”

James 1:17 N.L.T.

  1. Thanking God with you for the promise of life - in Him! And that there is NO uncertainty in His Word. Praising God with your dear kids for the lives changed during these early days of their ministry.

  4. I loved this and needed that reminder. Whatever He touches can not remain dead. I love, love, love that. I also love your list. I was excited to read the final one about your daughter's church plant.

The spaghetti picture is adorable. It made me smile. I was very blessed by that picture of the worship, too. It was particularly beautiful to see all the different worship styles. That's a beautiful sight to me.

  11. I’m visiting from Ann’s today. I know it’s Tuesday and the link was yesterday. But there are 300 of us linking – I’ll be reading all week and still won’t get to them all. So I’m glad I got to yours.

First, amen – no matter what it looks like – spring is sure to come – I heart that.

And I do have one favorite from your list. - baby granddaughter getting to have a sleepover with Papa and Nana for shame! Not only do you give a gift to her mom and dad – but get one for yourself – everybody’s a winner – including granddaughter :)

Thank you for sharing your list – it’s really a joy reading all of these.

God Bless you and yours and your gratitude journey.
