Equipped for Turbulent Times-Part One

I've written quite a bit lately about the turbulent times we are living in. It's not often we experience a worldwide pandemic, civil and racial unrest and  the upheaval of a contentious election season all at once! However, it's important to remember that even though the events of 2020 may have caught us by surprise, none of these things have been a surprise to God. There is nothing that we face that He hasn't equipped us to walk through. For the next three Sundays, let's focus together on some of the "tools" in the toolbox that God has given us for turbulent times.   (Join me for the rest of this post on Sunday, August 16th, at Woman to Woman Ministries, where each Sunday I share a bit of Sunday Soul Food!)

  2. Thankful for his presence and I have to remind myself at times that He knew way before we did about the current status of the World. Even with that, I do pray constantly for things to be okay. I am learning to trust that He knows our needs.

    1. I definitely agree that, although God is ultimately in control, He expects us to pray that His kingdom will come and His will be done on this earth as it is in heaven. God wants us to partner with Him through our prayers.

    1. Linda, I don't know how people manage life on this sin-twisted planet without faith and trust in God!
