Weekly Gratitude Journal

I'm grateful to God that He has given us resources to navigate through challenging times. We're all still dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent economic consequences. (Masks are mandatory in all places of business where we live.) Then there's the division and strife and civil unrest as well which is affecting us greatly here in the Pacific Northwest. There's also the political backbiting thrown into the cultural mix. Time in God's Word, prayer and worship are sustaining me and strengthening me and helping me to experience God's peace in the midst of the turmoil. Daily focusing on writing down at least three things that I thank God for is also helpful. What are you doing that is helping you to cope with the times we are living in?

Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks,
piling up gratitude day by day in my journal.
(and capturing some of my blessings via my camera or iPhone)

  1. Masks aren't mandatory here, things are opened up - we are blessed that my husband works from home. The boys finished their college semesters on-line - and they are both grateful that they will be on-campus in classrooms in the Fall! Thankful for God's provision and protection. Congratulations on your precious grandson - and those special times with the ones you love! What beautiful blessings God has given you!

    1. Focusing on God's blessings has been life changing for me-especially in light of the chaos of the current times we're living in.
