Weekly Gratitude Journal

God is in control. God is good. God is faithful. God is trustworthy.
Disease, racial tension, civil unrest and violence still rage in our nation, But no matter the circumstances, God has not left us alone or let go of His grasp on us. He is still caring for us watchfully and affectionately. It's up to us to take notice.

Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks,
piling up gratitude day by day in my journal.

(and capturing some of my blessings via my camera or iPhone)

6-29-2020-
-the encouragement found in this passage- 2 Corinthians 7:10-13 - " Distress that drives us to God does that. It turns us around. It gets us back in the way of salvation. We never regret that kind of pain. But those who let distress drive them away from God are full of regrets, end up on a deathbed of regrets. And now, isn’t it wonderful all the ways in which this distress has goaded you closer to God? You’re more alive, more concerned, more sensitive, more reverent, more human, more passionate, more responsible."

  1. What beautiful blessings God gave you! I wish that I would just rush to God without needing challenges - I want to love Him that way, but the challenges are like the shepherd's stick keeping me beside Him where I need to be! Thanks for joining Remembering God Monday!!! I'm also so glad your voice is back!
