The Personal God Who Knows You Personally

This year my husband and I each turned sixty two. Sixty two! I can hardly wrap my mind around it because most of the time I still feel young. But, once in a while my body reminds me that I'm not as young as I feel inside. It can be kind of scary to wonder what the future holds as I grow older. I think that the truth is, facing an unknown future can be kind of scary at any age. We can take comfort in the fact that God fully knows and understands us and He knows what we need no matter what age we are and no matter what situation we face.  (Join me for the rest of this post on Sunday, September 8th at Woman to Woman Ministries, where each Sunday I share a bit of Sunday Soul Food!)

  1. Having turned the very same age, I can relate to this post quite well! Psalm 103 is one of my favorite passages as it speaks of the benefits of God throughout our entire lives. So grateful to be reminded that He is a personal God who knows every one of our days and gives strength for each day. Have a blessed Sunday!

    1. I love that we're the same age. I love the perspective of God's faithfulness though the years that we get to see as we get older.
