God is perfect in all that He is, all of His ways and in His leadership in our lives. Yet, if we had our way, we'd want Him to be full of mercy and loving-kindness, but ease up a bit on all that righteousness stuff and maybe not be so dog gone unbending about the truth. I've heard the comment before that 'Parenting isn't for sissies'. So true. The times that I had to administer the hard parenting, I think was harder on me than on the child. The saying the No to someone who means the world is crushing, but as you say, is important, and I do children to like structure. It signifies someone cares even if at the time, they don't think so. Same with God in the times we want answers and answers now. In the end, it does seem to hit us eventually that the situation of the prayers not answered were for our benefit. Good food for thought today. Have a nice week. :)

DeleteLovingkindness is one of the most beautiful words in the Bible I think. It really expresses God’s heart to me.
