Antique Ironstone Meakin Pitcher and Stock flowers...

When I first spied the little ironstone pitcher made in England by Meakin,
I actually left it sitting there on the shelf at the Goodwill.

And then ended up going back the next day, and it was still there waiting for me,
plus it was "senior discount day"!

A pretty little find for $4.49!
I think it's especially lovely with a bouquet of Trader Joe's stock.

(The old vintage clock and marmalade crock are thrift store finds from another day.)

still following,

  2. What a wonderful find for you! I love the entire vignette and how summery those flowers are. I wish, wish, wish our Trader Joe's was closer than an hour drive!

    1. I'm both blessed, (and maybe cursed!), to live within a short distance of some great antique malls, tons of great Goodwills and Salvation Army stores, and three Trader Joes...oh, and then there's Homegoods, Marshalls, TJMaxx and Ross....oh my!

  5. I just want to go shopping with you. Besides the fact that I've learned so much from you about ironstone, etc. I've always loved pitcher anyway.... but this one is a sweet gift. And the clocks are killing me. I must find one of my own. As always, love you!

  8. And wait... are we considered "seniors" at GW? What is their age cut off. I need to check this. If I'm going to have chin hair and wrinkles, I at least want a discount.
