Psalm 50:10...

In this world gone wild, I'm so glad I serve the God Who made it all,
Who owns it all, and Who is still ruling and reigning over it all!

  1. When I was a little girl I heard my father tell a story of a man who had great financial need. He prayed: 'O God, the cattle on a thousand hills are yours. Would you please sell some of them and meet this need?' Oh, to remember that it all belongs to Him no matter we who think 'owns' it. He is still in control!

  8. So true. Government shutdowns, wars and rumors of wars...nothing shakes His rule and in that we can have peace no matter what the circumstances :-)

  9. I think of that almost every time I'm seeing piles of cattle. Always makes me rejoice in the Lord. He'll take care of us, just as He takes care of them. Thanks, Elizabeth. [Would love to go cattle watching with you. We'd have fun!]
