Psalm 23:6...

The Hebrew word for follow used in Psalm 23:6, (I used the Amplified Version in my photo),
is "radaph", which means to run after, to chase, to pursue.
What a blessing to realize that I don't have to seek or run after, chase down, or pursue,
or try to earn, deserve, be good enough for
 God's love, goodness and mercy.
Instead, it's Him that's chasing me down with His great love,
His unfathomable goodness, His wonderful mercy.
Praise be to God!

  1. It's one of His gifts to us - that we don't have to run and look and try to find the blessings of His love and mercy and goodness. He is good - all the time!

  3. This is the reminder I need just now. To me, unemployment feels like failure or unworthiness. Even though I chose it. Knowing that I'm loved, even pursued, by my creator lifts my soul. :)

  11. Oh how I LOVE that!! I have heard so many sermons on that psalm and even taught it myself. This is the first time that I have had someone stop to point that little tidbit out to me.

And that's why they call it the Living Word. It just keeps giving and giving and LIVING.
