About a year ago I decided to try painting.
So I bought some brushes, acrylic paints, and canvas and just went for it.
I don’t really know what I’m doing.
I’ve never taken lessons or classes or anything,
but I have fun playing at it.
I decided to try painting something wintery, and this is what I came up with.
Still following,
Elizabeth

I believe you have a natural talent. I love your painting.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that's really good! Congrats on the hard work.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love it when you stumble upon a hidden talent? :)
Your painting is beautiful. You should paint more!
ReplyDeleteIt is obvious you have an artistic eye.
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job, Elizabeth. I have absolutely no artistic talent and can't draw a circle without a plate. I admire it in others.
ReplyDeleteThat looks beautiful, Elizabeth. I haven't painted anything in so long. Have you ever tried oils? I always liked working with those better than acrylics.
ReplyDeleteAre you still painting? This wintery one would be lovely in my Christmas cabin! I have other paintings of pine/Christmas trees on its walls along with a collection of Christmas trees...
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely, Elizabeth!
I like it!
ReplyDeleteOh, my! Now I can call you my artist friend! I love your painting - hope you do more.
