What God has prepared for those who love him…

If the mind of man can come up with something this beautiful…

…what will this wedding be like?

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
      and no mind has imagined
   what God has prepared

      for those who love him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT

I bet it’s going to be AMAZING!

My continuing gratitude list #1081 – #1092

-God is here, with me, in me

-a fun break in normal routine, a movie on a weeknight!

-oldest daughter is pregnant!(miracle baby #2 is on the way!)

(This Nana is definitely doing the happy dance right now!)

-working in the yard and fixing up old “junk” and making it “new”

-an evening with baby granddaughter, who makes going to Costco an adventure that includes pizza and ice cream,

who inspires this Nana to save a salamander in a jar just for the joy of seeing what she thinks of it,

who makes bath time with toys a flood and night time snuggles heart melting

-my cell phone in my robe pocket rang just when I was putting the robe into the washer!

-a price adjustment in the store resulting in money back

-2 Timothy 2:21 I can choose to be a vessel of honor

-oldest granddaughter calling on the phone so excited that her mama let her

“get up in the middle of the night to watch the princess get married!”

-a beautiful Saturday that included sweet time with my Bible, journal, and prayer,

a great walk outdoors two times around a local fitness trail,

and getting some cleaning, chores and projects done around the house

-a procrastinated chore accomplished with help from the Hubs

-Sunday-worship, the word, His body

Gratefully yours,

Elizabeth

  1. Oh I soooooooooooooo agree on this, if man can think up something this beautiful, what does Christ have for us and also what He does for us now. His will be totally pure and far out do anything man could think of....that so sums up the wedding for me...thanks for sharing that.

Congratulations on another grand baby...we are praying for one here...it will be a miracle also, they have already miscarried one and she is having problems getting pregnant.

Wonderful post....and thanks for stopping by my blog and your sweet comment on potato head.

Have a great day...I will enjoy all of the royal wedding pictures through those eyes from now on.

  2. Such a beautiful post. I could see the train of the dress in your words and the joy of the wedding of the Bride to her long waiting Groom. I can't wait to see, either.

  4. Best week ever! I loved this one so much for some reason. Maybe it's that WOOHOOO one about your daughter being pregnant. Congratulations!

But I also loved the whole baby granddaughter sequence and one about your oldest granddaughter and the wedding.
