Friday Favs…blue and white transferware…

I've said it before, I’m much more of an ironstone, stoneware, earthenware type gal.

I’m not typically drawn to dainty china.

Lately, however, I have been drawn to the old-fashioned beauty of transferware…

especially blue and white transferware.

So, with a Marshall’s gift card that I recently received tucked away in my purse,

I spied this beautiful Johnson Bros. transferware on the clearance rack there for cheap, cheap, cheap,

just waiting for me, me, me!

So, what do you think?

  1. I'd be there in a skinny minute if you weren't on the other side of the continent! Beautiful.

  2. Hi Elizabeth! Your tea party looks so yummy and cozy! Love that blue transferware. So very pretty! Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog, my friend. :) It meant alot to me. There IS something about being at the "ocean's hem" (Kerrie @ Sea Cottage's fav term) that is so very healing and inspiring. ♥ Have a blessed day, my sister in Christ!

  6. I was literally thinking "that's my cup of tea". Then, I realized that by saying it I would sound lame and cutesy.

    So I won't say it.

    But it is.
