A message from Nana…

Mama and Daddy flew away on an airplane for three days.

Nana wanted me to tell you she is busy taking care of me.

I had to stay inside in my pajamas today because I woke up with a cold.

You know the kind…

…runny nose…

…watery eyes…

…plugged ears…

…chest congestion.

For some reason, my cold doesn’t seem to be slowing me down a bit.

Nana, however, seems like she could use a nap.

  1. She is so adorable. Oh, I miss her so much. Super cute post!

  2. Elizabeth, this is too precious! She is adorable; enjoy your time. Hopefully she will not get any worse.

  3. This girl doesn't look sick to me...just
adorable, that's all. What a blessing
she must be. I know her Nana will take
extra good care of her. :-)

  4. Precious! Hope you both get a nap!

  5. Oh, this girl is just too cute but I bet you are worn out. They don't slow down even for a cold--It is incredibly clever what you did with the pictures to describe the cold--

Love that your children will have lots of journals--hey, I have a galley kitchen too. I love the way you said your mom described it--and wouldn't you know it--EVERY TIME I go in there to do or get anything, here comes you know who--and holiday time--my three sons who in total weigh about 900 lbs--they all want to come in there at the same time--good luck opening a refrigerator, an oven door, the dishwasher or just taking two little steps--it is impossible--they love to get me going also!--which doesn't take a lot--smile--love you, d.

  6. Hey, little cutie! Please tell your Nana to rest and let you take over handling the house. You are a precious little girl. You know your Nana thinks you're the best, don't you? She told me! Please give her a hug for me.

P.S. - Please get well so you have lots of energy when Mommy and Daddy come home.

  7. Yep. That's exactly what I have tried to preorder with God. He just chuckles at me, I think. He knows what my future holds.

    And I trust him.

But periodically, I remind Him how much I would love little grandbabies in cuddly pajamas. Why, I'll even take the runny noses that go along with it.

    She's adorable!!!

  8. What a precious bundle of joy!! Nothing like having your grandbabies in your home, but oh the energy they have!! Strength to you and your hubby!! Love the pictures!

  9. Oh, what a joy she must be! She is adorable!! I had to chuckle bec there were times when I watched my granddaughters and they were so busy that I felt like I sure could use a nap!! :)

    Have fun!

    Hugs, Carolyn ~ Cottage Sunshine

  10. That was a cute set of pictures :)
