Autumn is pumpkin nut bread time in my house.

(My Little Buddy’s favorite!)

In my opinion, the recipe found on the Libby’s website, is the best, so here it is…

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 can (15 ounces) LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Fat Free Milk
1 large egg
1 large egg white
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup chopped nuts

PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
COMBINE flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, salt and baking soda in medium bowl.

Blend pumpkin, granulated sugar, brown sugar, evaporated milk, egg, egg white and oil in large mixer bowl.

Add flour mixture; mix just until moistened.

Pour into prepared loaf pan; sprinkle with nuts.
BAKE for 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.

Happy Friday Everyone!

Tidy Mom I'm Lovin It Fridays

  1. Yummm!! Your photos are so great I think I can taste your Pumpkin Bread! Think I need to make some, too. Have a great weekend, my friend. Praying for the retreat! And you.

  2. Ummmmmmm, I need a Tall Mocha Grande to go with this--! Looks perfectly yummy! Thanks for the recipe.

I think that is right--this past summer when a friend and I drove to NM for a calligraphy workshop, she insisted that I have a couple of Starbucks on the way there and back--she told me what to order since I had never been there.

  3. I love pumpkin bread! Yours looks wonderful!

  4. I also love pumpkin bread and did a post on my blog with a recipe. I love nuts in it but hubby doesn't so we usually make it without. Thanks for sharing.

Great photos & baking instructions. I'm hungry now, I would have a slice for breakfast, lunch & dinner, but I guess I would have to make & bake first. I'm a 44, a Christian, Wife & mother, and as a new Blogger just born this October. I look forward to visiting your blog.
    God bless your day!
