I simply remember my favorite things…Friday’s favs…I’m lovin’ Camas Antiques!

From Portland, cross the Columbia River and head east on Hwy. 14 and you will soon be in the quaint little town of Camas.

There you will find Camas Antiques.  Love, love, love it!

Want to see why?

Look Honey, there’s one of your long lost relatives shopping for antiques…a fellow Stewart wearing the family tartan kilt!

The prices here are really great compared to many antique stores.

Hey, I recognize those birds…they aren’t antiques, they’re from the Dollar Tree.  But I LOVE what they did with them.  Cute!

And now what I bought…I spent a whole $15, and what I bought wasn’t antique either.

I bought a shell ball…

and a wicker ball sitting right next to one of three little Dollar Tree birds that I already had.

Watch out little birdie…I have plans for you now!

  1. We have some awesome friends who live in Portland--we only have visited them once--about 2000 I think--we were there about three days--one day we drove to the ocean (oh my, take my breath away), the next day Mt. Hood (oh my, my, my there was a wedding going on way up on the mountain and as we stood and watched, the bride and groom and wedding party descended the mountain--yes, in wedding gown and tux no less) and one day we went to the falls, can't remember what it is called close to the Colombia--

BUT we didn't make it to Camas--maybe next time--smile!

    Beautiful post!

  2. Oh, you and I have got to go there some day! That's a favorite of mine, too. If you love Camas Antiques you'll enjoy Monticello Antique Marketplace where I want to take you. Oh-oh, I think we two could get into some real trouble! Maybe we can help each other watch our wallets!

  3. I've heard so much about Camas from the blog Notes from a Cottage Industry. Between reading this post and her blog, I would just love to see Camas. Thanks for sharing.
