Weekly Gratitude Journal

love this time of the year! I'm so thankful for Jesus, the Reason for the Season. But, no matter the season, everyday I've got so much to be thankful for. Daily, I try to write down at least three things that I'm thankful for, but the truth is there are many blessings that I don't remember to write down and many that I'm sure I don't even notice. It's humbling to realize how much God does for me that I certainly don't deserve. I can't praise and thank Him enough.
Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks,
piling up gratitude day by day in my journal.
(and capturing some of my blessings via my camera or iPhone)

-God's provision through finding sales on things we need
-youngest grandson singing "Jinky Bells" on my walk with him
-a fun after school pick-up of our two middle granddaughters-(we went to Hobby Lobby and bought a Christmas craft, got a free slice of yummy bread at Harvest Grain and looked at toys at Target)
-an encouraging phone call with my guy who's out of town at meetings

-heat at the flip of a switch on these cold mornings
-Hope City's Advent Devotional
-our small group praying together

-the street sweeper cleaning up all of autumn's debris on our street
-lunch with my long time friend
-our youngest daughter and the two youngest grandbabies stopping by for a fun visit
-some hopeful news

-God's leadership and guidance in our lives
-Prince of Wholeness-Isaiah 9:6 MSG
-good news about an answer to prayer

-Friday Date Day with my guy
-my husband getting his IPAD back that he left in a loaner car
-a cozy evening snuggled up while watching a Christmas movie

-being able to find the gift I want to get by husband for Christmas,
(that is backordered everywhere else I looked), at one store in the area
-a neat and tidy nightstand-(it's normally covered with too many books, etc.)
-our middle grandson coming to our house to spend some time with Papa and Nana

-my husband's powerful message this morning
-lunch with one of the single mama's from church
-addressing Christmas cards while watching Christmas movies

still following,
