I love to decorate with blue and white.
To me, it's classic and timeless.
When we bought our leather furniture nineteen (!) years ago we chose navy blue.
I've never ever regretted that decision and would do it again in a heartbeat.
To add pops of warmth to the cool palette of blue and white
against gray, or "greige", walls with white trim, I add a few pops of red.
Texture added through the use of a lot of natural wood,
as well as pillows, throws and quilts also warms up a room decorated with cool colors.

I love your home with the colors you use! You know I've loved and decorated with a lot of yellow but my taste is changing and - because of inheriting a lot of blue from my mom - I'm able to go with more blue and white with pops of yellow. You always inspire me, dear friend, and I never get tired of seeing your home.

DeleteI'm pretty much with you, Elizabeth! I also am enjoying some grey - dark in our more masculine bathroom, and light grey in the room we finished for my father who lives with us. White woodwork really sets it off!
