Sunflowers and copper...

The last several days have been gray and rainy.
I only use natural light when I take photographs, which can be challenging on gloomy days.
In the first three photos in this series I overexposed the shots purposefully,
in the last three I left them a bit more dark and moody,
which, in this case,  I think I prefer.

Light and airy or dark and moody, what is your preference?

still following,

  1. the sunflowers in a copper vase is begging to be painted! It makes me think of Van Gogh. cheers from kid can doodle :)

    1. That would make a lovely painting...if only I could paint!

  2. Each is nice and I think I also like the subdued ones' tone.

  3. These were beautiful in any light! So glad you shared the photos!

  4. I love your use of textures in these shots.
Thanks for linking up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/10/springtime-memories.html

  5. They are all great photos but I do like the light and airy the best.

  6. I love all your still shots, Elizabeth, you have such a gift for them. But the last three are definitely my favorites!
