Proclaiming God's goodness...

This world has gone sin-twisted mad.  The media reports are filled with news of more evidence of corruption, of more natural disasters, of more death and destruction.  Yet, God still reigns on the throne and the evidence of His beauty, love and goodness can be clearly seen if only we open our eyes to see it.  Look around today.  Open your eyes.  Open your heart.  God's blessings are all around you even in the middle of all this mess.  Can you see Him at work?  Take notice.  Write down what you see.  Count your blessings.  Notice the evidence of His loving presence in your life.  It will change your perspective and fill you with hope and confidence.  Give it a try.

Since 2009 I've been counting my blessings thanks to the prompting of Ann Voskamp.
I continue to count my thanks
piling up gratitude day by day
in my journal.
(and capturing some of my blessings via my camera or iPhone)
