His mercy endures forever...

After God flooded the earth because of the wickedness of mankind, He made a covenant with Noah, his descendants, and all of the living creatures on the earth that He would never again destroy the earth with a flood.  He put a rainbow in the sky as a sign of His covenant, of His mercy. Scripture and Snapshot

Also happily linking up with the lovely Lisha Epperson

  1. A beautiful scripture....a beautiful message....a beautiful photo. Thank you for inspiring us Elizabeth!

  2. I'm so glad you captured their beauty before they're gone. I love how you pointed out that the rainbow surrounds God's throne. His ever action toward us is merciful. Blessings on your Sabbath!

  3. We talk a lot about God's love and His grace, but sometimes it's really good to take some time and ponder His mercy. Oh, I cannot count the times when I deserved punishment, but received mercy instead. This is the way the dictionary defines it: "compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm".

Mercy that endures forever, because God is just that good...

  4. Beautiful photo and words. I'm missing your Monday post! I know you're busy and will post when you can. Prayers for you.

    1. Just got back from a week of missions work in Nicaragua. Will post soon!
