Friday Faves...Deck the Halls 2015

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to our "new to us" home all decked out for Christmas.
As many of you know, we moved into our new home in September
and have been doing some updating and renovating ever since.
We've still got more projects to do,
but are taking a break and just enjoying being in our home for the holidays.

When you come in our front door, our living room is seen through double arches to your right.

Straight ahead of you is a little wall between the living room and the entry to the dining room,
where I placed my antique library table and wooden cubby that holds my vintage santa cup collection.

Another view from the entryway into the living room.

We just installed custom white woven wood blinds on the living room windows yesterday,
so we can finally enjoy relaxing with a wee bit more privacy.

When we renovated we turned the small family room off of the kitchen into an open concept dining room,
and literally turned the gas fireplace around in the wall to face the living room.
The wall in the dining room that used to hold the fireplace got a little farmhouse shiplap treatment.

The breakfast nook is now a little sitting area for my husband and I.

I love my corner kitchen windows.

Thank you for visiting my new home
and I pray that you and yours have a blessed Christmas!
