Simple Pleasure…a touch of green

I like a little green in the house.

A few living things.

The hardier, the better, since I don’t have a particularly green thumb.

The begonia, that, (amazingly!), keeps happily blooming, sitting by the window in my entryway.

I’ve recently added a couple succulents that are doing well, at least so far!

That’s my simple pleasure this week, house plants that are actually surviving!

Still following,

Project Simple Pleasures2

  1. What a lovely delicate colour on your begonia!
This would give me much pleasure too!
I love houseplants but I'm not very successful with them.
Enjoyed seeing yours today, Elizabeth :-)

  2. What a beautiful begonia! I also like low maintenance hardy plants. The second succulent should do very well, they are very easy to "grow".

  3. I NEED to see green since we live in a desert. Sadly, while we were away for 10 days, many of my plants on the balconies died, but the succulents survived. Their leaves became very flat but once I started watering them again, they plumped back up. Think I will make making a visit to the plant souk very soon for some replacements. Have a terrific Thursday! Tammy

  4. I'm proud to report that my green houseplants are doing well too. That's saying something, too!

(Thank you for your prayers, Elizabeth)

  5. Oh, that begonia is pretty. I don't really have any houseplants, I usually just go with fresh flowers :)
