quote from the song Hot Chocolate by Tom Hanks from the movie The Polar Express)
Since we've had snow and freezing rain since last Thursday,
I've been partaking of a little more hot chocolate than normal.
Never heard the hot chocolate song?
still following,
Love, love, love this--and that song is priceless-it's one of my favorites--love the texture and the other photos too.

ReplyDeleteMe, too! Thanks, Patricia.
DeleteI make my own super duper killer hot chocolate mix and still have some left from the last batch. There is nothing I can think of that comforts me (in the edible category) more than hot chocolate.
ReplyDeleteYes, there's something pretty much perfect about a cup of hot chocolate.
DeleteThank goodness for you, I would have been totally out of touch because I have never seen this movie or heard the hot chocolate song. I would so be missing out so thank you for keeping me current. My big thrill though was seeing a Cheerwine bottle with a flower in it. My grandparents lived in North Carolina and introduced me to Cheerwine floats when I was very little. I grew up having Cheerwine on the front porch swing at my grandma's house and watching lightening bugs fly around. Some of the very best memories of my life. They did not sell the beverage here in Florida so it was always our job to bring as much home in the car as we could to last a while back home. We also did not have lightening bugs so that was a pleasure we only enjoyed on trips to grandmas house. Love it and thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy I triggered some good memories for you, friend.
DeleteNow, I think I need a cuppa hot chocolate after seeing your photos! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteHave a cup on me, Beverly!
