I try not to reflect on the huge past vs the small future that is out in front. We never know, but as I'm in my 70's now...well, it is just one day at a time. I thank God every day for my one day at a time. Your post is so spot on with how we face the new year even in our youth. I can look back on last year and be thankful for many things as a senior citizen. And I welcome whatever this year brings, and yes, God can give the courage and the strength as only he can so that I don't crumble. He builds us up better than anything can..well, I do like my coffee though. ~smiles~

Happy New Year

Peabea@Peabea ScribblesPeabea Scribbleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06985942907237746797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1105171804337429232.post-3308076368300574192018-01-07T13:03:44.860-08:002018-01-07T13:03:44.860-08:00I hope everyone clicks through and reads your full...I hope everyone clicks through and reads your full post. It reminded me of those verses in Lamentations 3 that tell us that God's mercies are new every morning. There's something so great about fresh starts. My primary one is relief though...that we've made it through another season of holidays and spring is on the way and there is so much to look forward to.
